Dear Friends, Methods of swamp drainage

One of the Fox whatevers, name of Hannity, I think, has said that Trump is “taking a wrecking ball to the swamp”. Well, obviously, the big swamp is Trump, his flunkies, his cronies, the billionaires towards whom he sends wooing glances, oh, yes, and of course the entire Republican congressional caucus. Leave that aside, Hannity has done real service to our understanding of the situation: a wrecking ball really isn’t a good instrument for draining a swamp.
