 Dear Friends,                                                                                   Im Westen update

My brother reminds me that it was our grandfather, Constant Huntington (head of the English branch of the Boston publishing firm Putnam) who published the first English translation of Im Westen nichts Neues, and under the title All Quiet on the Western Front, at a time, as he rightly says (my brother not my grandfather) “when it was very definitely not cool to dwell on the horrors of the war”. Thanks bro!

Love and solidarity,

            Bobby
