Bush and Obama made a rare joint statement on the day of the final elimination of USAID. They were joined by Bono, who has earned the right to speak on such things. Their action is a very good thing, and I’m not going to start going on about how they should have done more, earlier, etc., etc., etc. Listen to them! Listen to he whose Administration created a program that has saved more lives than perhaps any other, PEPFAR.

I am going to say just one thing, not a criticism, what else could he say? Obama described the elimination of USAID as a “colossal mistake”. He is constrained by protocol, I’m not. The elimination of USAID is premeditated mass murder.
