Not the “worst of the worst”. We know this not only from the actions of ICE and CBP agents, but also from leaked directives by Stephen Miller attacking agents for spending time trying to identify violent criminals. If you’re aiming for the “worst of the worst” you have to look for them. But they’re not, they’ve been told not to.

Occasional “worst of the worsters” will be caught up in the typically random sweeps. DHS’s own statistics show it’s only a few. Not to mention just what the definition of “worst of the worst” is supposed to be.

So who are they detaining and why? Anyone they can possibly identify as insufficiently American. If they turn out to be US citizens, legal permanent residents, green card holders, veterans or current US military? Hey, everyone makes mistakes, and these guys shouldn’t have looked the way they do: we’re protecting you from the worst of the worst, the hordes released from the world’s lunatic asylums, murderers, rapists, invading our country! And you’re complaining about a few unavoidable administrative slip ups?

This is not an exaggeration of what they're saying – I was trying to exaggerate, it’s

hard.

What about why? In the general sense? Why are they doing this, what’s it for? The they’re appealing to their base argument doesn’t hold up. The base isn’t supporting them. And they already saw from Trump, Season 1 The Apprentice Years, what happened with the child separation “policy”. Only incredibly stupid … ok, they are incredibly stupid, right up to the top. But, on average, incredibly stupid people don’t engage in vicious, malignant and murderous activities. Those who do, typically, do so for the viciousness, malignancy, murderousness themselves. Cruelty is both means and end.

Is this an exaggeration? Explain. I’m not giving examples, we all know them by heart, the images are burnt into our thoughts. And I’m saying obvious things that we all know.

But we must hold fast to these things not only against the flood of lies from the regime and its lackeys, but even more from the relentless bothsiderism of the so-called “liberal” media. Never for a second let yourself start saying, oh, that’s an interesting point, maybe I’m exaggerating. If ever you do start saying that, just remember what Trump says, what his minions say, what MAGA and their media say. They never worry about exaggerating.
